It’s the little things!

First blog of 2018! I hope all of you that have made new healthy lifestyle resolutions have stuck to them! It only takes 21 days for something to become a habit! Anyways I just wanted to talk to you guys about the little things. I know when going through a weight-loss journey we’re always looking for the big accomplishments! One thing about this journey that I’ve learned to appreciate is the little things. So I’m going to share a list of little things that I feel have been great accomplishments for me!

1. Being able to ride rollercoasters again. When I tell you that these thighs didn’t allow me to ride all the rides and amusement parks it took a lot of fun out of it. Now I can fit 🤗🤗

2. Being able to fit comfortably in an airplane seat. Now I’ve never had to buy 2 or anything like that but child this seatbelt used to be so uncomfortable. Now it goes across my hips with no problems and I even have to tighten it!

3. Being able to shop at a lot of the same stores as my bestfriend. Now I know some people are thinking “why?” Well being a plus size female I couldn’t always fit the plus size clothes in stores like Charlotte Russe and even some stuff in Forever 21. Now you can’t keep me out of these stores or off their websites 🤗🤗💸💸💸

4. Squeezing through smaller spaces. That may not mean much but it’s nice to turn to the side or walk through smaller spaces comfortably!

5. Not getting tired as quickly while doing cardio. I remember when I first started doing my cardio intervals. I absolutely HATED IT! Now I do a mile of cardio before or after every workout and I do one day that’s just all cardio. But what I’m proud of his the ability to do my mile and not feel like I’m about to die (lol). As much as I hate doing it I see the benefits of cardio!

These are just some of my small accomplishments. There are so many more that make me so happy! Of course in this journey we love seeing the pounds drop and the clothes sizes go down but never take the little things for granted. This applies just not to losing weight but to life in general! I hope that my small accomplishments can inspire you and hopefully you’ll take the time to appreciate your own ❤️
